Consists of Theodore Roosevelt material collected by Herbert R. Strauss. Contains correspondence, memorabilia, post cards, photographs, glass slides, a portrait, cartoons, and drawings. Correspondents include Lemuel Quigg, William D. Murphy, and many others. Also contains correspondence of members of Roosevelt's cabinet, 1903-1908. Subjects include Roosevelt's appointment as police commissioner, his tenure as governor of New York, his autobiography, the Republican Party, the 1916 presidential campaign, and the League of Nations.
